High-end fashion
Description
Selected by the founders of Ingamo after their search for the ‘perfect fit’, I embarked on an intensive journey to build the digital presence for their new high-end fashion brand. The project demanded meticulous attention to detail and a deeply collaborative approach, working closely with the founders on everything from design elements to brand messaging.
As the primary Web Developer, Designer, and go-to Technical Support, my role was comprehensive. Beyond building and iterating on their website, I also assisted with the IT setup for their physical store (displays, POS systems). This startup environment required significant dedication and adaptability, often involving long hours to meet ambitious goals.
The e-commerce website was built on WordPress, primarily using Gutenberg with Kadence Blocks, but heavily enhanced with ACF Pro and substantial custom PHP and JavaScript snippets to achieve the desired bespoke functionality. Key technical achievements included implementing multi-language and multi-currency capabilities for international reach and integrating a robust suite of essential business APIs. This critical connectivity involved implementing:
- Stripe API: Enabling seamless global payments, including modern options like Apple Pay & Google Pay.
- Montonio API: Providing localized Baltic payment solutions.
- Omniva API: Streamlining shipping logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Erply API: Synchronizing inventory levels and sales data between the website and their physical POS/warehouse system.
A rigorous analytics strategy was also employed, integrating Clarity, GTM, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel to closely monitor user interaction and continuously optimize the site for the competitive luxury market.
Technologies: WordPress, Gutenberg, Kadence Blocks, ACF Pro, WooCommerce, Custom PHP/JS, Multi-language/Multi-currency implementation, API Integration (Stripe, Montonio, Omniva, Erply), GTM, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Clarity.
