Project Overview: Tasked with the full technical development of a new e-commerce website for Desiree, working from designs provided by a graphic designer/videographer. The objective was to create a visually engaging online store with robust functionality.

My Role & Contributions: As the lead developer, I translated the provided designs into a fully operational Elementor and WooCommerce website. My key responsibilities focused on the technical execution and functionality:

• Built and customized the WooCommerce store, including product page layouts, checkout process optimization, gift card capabilities, and handling of variable products.
• Developed custom product filters incorporating images, enhancing the user experience and product discovery process.
• Managed the complex migration of thousands of products from the client’s previous, non-WordPress CMS using meticulous CSV handling and data transformation techniques.
• Integrated the website with multiple essential third-party APIs to connect services like payment gateways, shipping providers, or marketing tools.
• Ensured smooth operation of all site features, including third-party tools like a talk bot.
• Created comprehensive documentation and guides to empower the new site owners to manage products and day-to-day operations effectively.
